The van covers Bay Ridge regularly and most jobs take one to two hours at your address. Pricing matches in-shop work, so a chip is $60 to $150 and a windshield $250 to $450. Driveways and garages here make good working space, and the fifteen-minute drive stops being your problem.

Mobile work makes obvious sense from Bay Ridge because of the distance. A windshield job means two trips if you bring the car in, once to drop it and once to collect after the cure time, and that is most of a day gone for a fifteen-minute drive done twice. Having the van come to you replaces all of that with one appointment where the car already is.
The requirements are the same anywhere: room to work around the vehicle, ground that is close to level, and weather that lets urethane reach strength. Given those, the job is not a compromise. Correct glass identified from the VIN, frame cleaned and primed, fresh adhesive, safe drive-away time honoured in full before you use the car, interior vacuumed, and the identical lifetime workmanship warranty we put on shop work. The exception is vehicles needing static camera calibration with shop equipment, which we identify from the VIN before booking so nobody wastes a morning finding out on the driveway. Chip repairs and side glass are far less sensitive to weather than a full windshield, so those still go ahead on days when we would rather postpone a replacement. Everything else about the visit is the same.
“Shalom Auto Glass is absolutely the real deal. Everyone there was so nice, friendly, and easy to work with from start to finish. The pricing was very fair, they were completely honest, and they didn’t try to add on a single unnecessary…”

Two Bay Ridge conditions genuinely affect a mobile install, and we would rather set expectations than pretend otherwise. Slope is the first: many of the numbered streets running down toward the water are steep enough that a car parked on them sits at an angle a windshield should not be set at. If your street is one of those, we will ask you to move the car to a flatter spot or to a driveway. Wind is the second. An exposed position up near Shore Road on a blowing day drives grit into fresh urethane, and grit in a bond is the origin of leaks that show up long after anyone remembers the install. A sheltered driveway or a garage solves both problems at once.
Same service, same price, other Brooklyn neighborhoods:
Usually the best place, provided there is room to stand at the front of the car and enough light to work by. A garage removes wind and rain from the equation entirely, which is exactly what a windshield install wants. Check whether your building permits outside contractors to work in the garage, since some do not, and tell us when you book.
Not within our regular area, and Bay Ridge is inside it. Mobile work is priced the same as work done in the bay, so you are choosing on convenience rather than paying for it. If a particular job ever carried a travel charge we would tell you at the quote stage, before anything was scheduled, not afterwards.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
